Sorry for the late post, also saw the Hoopoe in Marloes on a brief look on the way back from Skokholm this morning. It was seen twice briefly in and around the garden of The Fold, opposite the Lobster Pot. Clearly a flighty & mobile bird(s), if visiting please respect resident's privacy. Highlights of 4 days on Skokholm included 2 Ring Ouzels (including the first to be ringed on Skokholm for over 30 years), a smart male Redstart, a Merlin and a Yellow Wagtail (but they you'll know that from the
Skokholm Blog). Off to Skomer on Saturday...a few days of easterly winds promises something!
