A Marloes hoopoe

Avidly feeding in a Marloes garden this morning, stabbing at the lawn for as long as we watched. It seems to be eating ant pupae. This bird has been seen for several days by this householder, and several other sightings have also been made in the village - it is distinctly possible that there is more than one bird around.
