Shortly afterwards Wendy was watching the waders as they were spooked off by a Peregrine.
Later c15:00 the Dunlin count up to 14 and Ringed Plover to 18.
At least one Sandwich Tern was around the estuary this morning. A flock of 9 Little Egrets is interesting - perhaps new birds arriving ? Seven Mute Swans circling the marsh twice early this morning may have been new arrivals too. The Barnacle Geese flock is down to 72 birds, c20 Barnacle Geese are wandering...

Two new Sedge Warblers this morning along with 13 Blackcaps, and 11 Chiffchaffs, a little slower than yesterday.
